Weird cat
I was driving home from work tonite (at 2:30 AM) and wasn't paying particularly too close of attention to the road ahead. Even Vancouver dies down at this time of day so there werenââ¬â¢t any cars around. Ahead of me I spotted a couple of glowing objects that could have been passed for the reflectors in the middle of the road, but instead it was the eyes of a cat, a Siamese cat to be exact. The cat was just sitting there in the middle of the road looking at my oncoming car. I slowed down to a crawl and the cat finally got up and sauntered off the road.
The whole thing struck me as kind of funny but pretty weird at the same time. I've never experienced anything like that from a domesticated animal before, deer yes, cat's no. I sure hope it's not some sort of Omen :?

something like happened to be about 3 years ago. i was driving home at night and this black cat was on the side of the road. it ran out just i was passing him by and he hit my tire. i ran over him.
When I went back to see, the cat was nowhere to be seen or found. I guess he was okay and walked home?
Cats can be weird like that. I'ts almost as if they have so sense of fear at times.

I think they just have their own timing. I HATE when it takes forever for our cat to get in and out of the door. Sometimes it's as though she lives in a slow motion world.

Who gave your cat a haircut, Dwoing, was it done professionally or just to get it shorter hair to be cooler for the summer?

I think the vet did it and it's a full buzz cut with the exception of his head, paws and end of his tail. The fact that he's normally so fluffy makes a stark contrast between his shaved body and fluffy extremities. It's hilarious to see, he's both homely and cute at the same time.
