Our Fat Cat
We have a beautiful white fluffy white cat with blue eyes. She's been with us for 10 years. Lately, she's been throwing up and acting weird. PLEASE don't jump on me for this....but I can't spend $50 on a vet appt. for an older cat. When she was younger....we did take her to the vet for shots and later got her fixed.
I hate to get her euthanized....but she's miserable and I just don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
She weighs around 20 pounds...she's BIG.

Hey...THANKS! I bookmarked it and will check it out later. I TOLD Chloe, the owner of the cat, that the cat was old and sick and needed to be put asleep. She reminded me....that I'm old and sick too and no one is trying to kill ME. HAHA! I laugh....but she is very attached to the cat and it would be hard on Chloe to realize that she could lose her.

The advice is free if you pay the registration fee. HAHA! I guess she will either be ok or get old enough to die....just like the rest of us.

I think Chloe is overly attached to the cat because she got her as a kitten from her dad...right before he left and her life changed drastically. The cat is so friggin senile...she forgets that she just ate. She has NEVER been allowed on the table or the kitchen counters....all of a sudden every time I turn around....there she is.
I would take her to the vet....but regardless of what is wrong at her old age....I'm not going to spend alot money trying to 'fix' it.

My stupid dog always forgets he just ate when we're at table 8) .
That's the reason why I'm not having a pet. My pretty plan finally died yesterday - in my room is too darn hot and dry for it. So no matter how often I watered it, it wasn't enough. Felt soooo guilty yesterday when I threw it away... Maybe I should have burried it instead.
I've never had a pet die on me - except when my ex's dog died, but I had hardly seen it and it still made me cry.

Pets are like kids....they are cute when they are little. After that...they are just alot of work.

I only have pets because the kids want them. I love our dog and stuff...but I wouldn't chose to have one if I didn't have kids. I hate that 'no grass grows' area along the fence line, half chewed up toys all over the place and having to worry about him everytime we want to go somewhere.

OH MERIKA...PETS ARE GREAT. I PERSONALLY WILL ALWAYS HAVE A DOG OR A CAT.
MY PIT BULL, ELVIS, CAN ALWAYS CHEER ME UP. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS THINK OF HIM SITTING BESIDE ME ON THE COUCH PRETENDING TO NOT LOOK AT ME BUT CUTTING HIS EYES AT ME TO SEE IF I'M GOING TO OFFER HIM SOME OF MY POPCICLE. HE'S A HOOT.
