Default Our Cat Disappeared

The big fat white furry cat has disappeared. I didn't find her dead anywhere....nor has anyone seen her. It's been 3 days now. Do they go off and die somplace else?

Chloe is ok as long as no one mentions it. I think in a few days it will hit and and she's sure to cry a bit over this one. Even the dog looks around for her.

Male cat? Young cat?

We used to have one who did that repeatedly. He would always return though. Probably has to do with territory.

Cats are not prone to wander off, to die. Even if they are very weak, they prefer staying in. And not being hassled. To sleep.

No...she was an old fat female cat who was fixed and way beyond her prime. She was smart and wouldn't have gotten run over or let anyone else touch her. It's possible she was shot by some of the kids with BB Guns around here. You never really know. (My car has been shot three times... )

Oh, Merika, I'm so sorry...I hope you find her or she comes home on her own...I suffer greatly when I hear pets die or go missing...we've been through that kind of grief

She called the pound and they had a white cat....but when we checked it...it was a different cat. The cat was too smart to be trapped or caught anyway. Either someone took her inside because she is BEAUTIFUL cat....or she just died somewhere else.

Chloe cried yesterday and she's going to miss this cat for quite awhile. I guess it's just part of having pets and part of growing up. The cat annoyed me and I'M even missing her!

The dog ran around to all her inside 'resting' places and obviously noticed she was gone. He seems lonely.

My ex had 2 dogs and when the oldest died, the other one almost got depressed. It's really hard. But then they make us so happy while they're with us that it is worth while having them.

Merika, hang in there. I say it's too soon to quit.

She never showed up and no one ever found any remains. I guess she went off in the swamp and died. Chloe searched thru all the kitties at the Human Society and Kitty Pound to see if she could find her.....but no luck there either.

The good part is....my sneezing fits are suddenly gone. I am so allergic to cats and this one was such a big hairy one.

I think the cat felt the same way about you which would explain her absense
