Naked in front of pets

How subconscious are you being naked in front of your pet(s)?

No issues with that. If they are allowed to sleep on the bed (which they are) they should not expect me to be in bed in full clothing.

When I had a dog I do remember feeling funny being naked in front of her. I know it is silly because they don't care one way or the other but had a bit of an issue with it. Don't think I would with a cat. They don't seem to notice you anyway.

No inhibitions in front our dearest cat who is gone now; but she did look at me funny, head turned slightly.

I voted "A little self-conscious" because not all pets are created equal. We've had dogs that were hard core pillow humpers and I simply never want to entice my pet to use me as a toy when I'm asleep.

My daughters cat was another clear example of an animal I'd never have been naked around. This cat had such an identity crisis that he actually believed he was a dog and as such, could not be alone for a minute. He'd try to get so close to you at night you'd swear he was trying to wiggle in under your skin.

We have had a couple of guard kitties... Doggies beware, they annihilate you.

I have to admit, not all pets are equally suitable around kids though.

Yeah, yesterday when I was stripping in the bathroom to get ready to take a shower, my Himalayan cat was sitting there in the doorway gawking at me, with her head possibly tilted slightly to her right. I wanted to say, "take a picture, it'll last longer."

So that was my inspiration for the thread.

I guess I didn't mind her checking out my backside too much. I'm more self-concious of full-frontal.
