Cat Facts
Cats
Sometimes your cat is waiting for you at the door of your house if you went out somewhere like on a vacation or somewhere like that. Well the reason is because a cat can recognize its owners footsteps from 100 ft away.
A cat has 270 bones.
A cat has 570 muscles and it takes 13 to control its ear.
In ancient history if someone killed a cat he/she would be punished by death.
I would love to adopt this cat its name is Jazz.

We have a REALLY big white super furry cat who has blue eyes. She is housetrained like a dog.....she scratches or meows to go out....no litter boxes. Her name is KiKi and she weighs close to 30 pounds. It would be hard to find a cat more beautiful......but the only people who she allows to touch her are the people in our family and she HATES our dog with a passion.
She does not like tuna very much...but prefers cut up ham. There goes our lunch meat......LOL!

Actually Dwoing has a great cat but he's a little stupid, he actually thinks he's a dog. He's so needy that stares at you and meows until you pet him, he follows you everywhere and sleeps right by your head every night, all night.

Both dogs and cats like sleeping next to their 'family' members. I guess it comes from when they were little and slept in a bunch with the rest of the litter.

True, but not all cats follow you around lost until you actually pay attention to them, that's a trait reserved for dogs.

I had a cat that nobody ever saw. Nobody knew we even had a cat. they were shocked when we told them we did! She would only come out at night to either me or Krystal. that's it. My brother's got her now and he's alergic to cats. LOL! I didn't bring her here because of the baby. I have this fear of babies and cats together in the same house. I heard a long time ago about this cat that smothered a baby to death in the crib because the cat smelled the milk or something. terrified me so i don't have cats around my babies. Krytal's sister will take the cat, now it's getting her here so she can.

We have this space in our family room in the corner between a love seat and a couch, with a bookcase in it. There are a few square feet in there, and the dog staked a claim to that corner of the house. He basically sleeps there all day, or sleeps out in the open, and wanders out a few time to eat, then demand attention for a few minutes, then lose interest and go into his corner and ignore us.
He never was all that demanding of a dog, but I do notice that when we watch a normal dog I find them kind of annoying when they follow me all around and are interested in everything I do.

I think dogs in general may be the most people friendly pet a person can have. Assuming of course that you want a pet that either meets or exceeds your love.

Our dog is TOO friendly. Everytime he sees us or someone new....he acts like a complete idiot....to the point of it being embarassing. He's a boxer....so he jumps up on his hind legs and tries to swat them with his front paws like a friggin Kangaroo.
I bought a pincher collar for walking him so he didn't jump up like that in public....but it only helps a little. He's almost a year old...I'm hoping he'll soon grow out of it.
