Money Talk

Money Talk is a forum to discuss all aspects of personal finance. Here we hope to discuss topics such as proper handling of personal finances, building nest-eggs, investing, debt management, etc.

It may be true that money can't buy you love but try taking a date out to dinner with only lint in your pockets.

BTW, thanks Weiser for the idea; sorry it took so lone to implement

Re: Money Talk

If I didn't have any RRSPs it would have been closer to $1500...

I just wish there was something I could do...a seperate company does our payroll & taxes and they are supposed to make sure that we don't owe anything at tax time. They really dropped the ball on that one.

Re: Money Talk

Ok, money talk. I would like to know who handles the money in a typical family? Here in my hometown, the fathers earn their living but when payday comes, the Mom opens her hand and the Dad gives her the pay envelope! I wish I could say the same for my family, it is the father who handles the money and the Mom (me!) just ask for the daily budget. Not too good yes, but when the bills come I am happy it's out of my hands!!!
