Default Your Bad!

Have you ever thought someone was interested in you....and you acted upon it.....only to find out nothing was farther from the truth?

I have......and in looking back....it's funny....but it wasn't at the time.

One time, maybe four years ago or so, I thought this one guy in a chat room (military chat) was tooooooo sexy to live. I also was friends with one of the females in the 'room'. Come to find out.....HE was married to HER. I was SO embarassing when she told me.

Years later, we are all still friends and email regularly....but that was a sticky moment.

I remember me PMing her with a 'DANG HE'S HOT'.....and reading her response and wishing I could die. HAHA!

Happens a lot. But usually there's no smoke without the fire, either.

Maybe he was indeed attracted to you and you sensed it. Human nature, after all.

In my case... yup, I sure burnt my litte fingers more that once. I remember this guy - we were in a student association, ready to change the world - he was flirting with all the girls, (me included), was cute as can be and funny etc... I might have been between the favourites, LOOL. So he falls off a chair once and hurts his leg. The uglyiest, meanest creature comes along and starts worrying and pampering him.... his gf for more that 6 months. JJJJJJeeeeessssuuussss, they were hardly speaking to eachother in front of us. I was so embarassed - I had been working there for a couple of months. No wonder I was not between her favourite people.... I hate it when people do that.

How can you know??? Thanks Lord I didn't ask the guy out or hit on him  ! That would have been the cherry on the top of the cake.

No Damn it, I've always played it safe, leaving me to always wonder what may have been!

Once. I usually read the signs right. I choose to look at it as the exception that proves the rule.

Samson, look on the bright side - maybe the wondering is better!

I am such a natural flirt I can usually play it off as if I was just being friendly
