I don't see why not as long as both of you agree and are okay with it. Just because you are living with or married to someone doesn't mean you are siamese twins. Sometimes people need their personal space. Also, sometimes couples need some time apart.

Great question.
If the vacation is something along the lines of a few days with a bunch of buds or girlfriends then I don't have a problem with it. Other than that, I'd rather take vacations with my partner if possible.
If not, I'm sure I'd be ok with that too though.

I think it's quite alright to take seperate vacations just as long as it's agreeable on both parties. Hubby has gone on fishing trips with his brother and buddies in the past and quite frankly, I found it really peaceful and I got the bed all to myself!

Well....when Meanon comes flying in from the UK....you'll have to come down also....and we'll have our OWN vacation.
Plus.....we will be needing a desginated driver....since Meanon and I are deisgnated drinkers.

My mother's boyfriend takes vacations alone. She adores exploring new places, she's fascinated by the Orient. Last year she went to Syria and had a blast. Saw Damasc, slept in a tent, travelled by rusty buses... and made some terific friends there.
I think that's incredible. His dad isn't such a fun of hot places but doesn't see why he should prevent his wife from this.
I'm a bit too young to voluntarily let my bf go alone on holiday with his friends. If he wants to go some place more expensive with his friends, I won't prevent it. But we don't see eachother all that much. So I guess if I could choose, I'd say "pass".
Maybe if we're still together next year and we'd know and trust eachother better or if we were living together, I'd agree.

I don't think it has to come down to a trust issue Twinkle. It's normal for young couples to want to spend all their free time together.
In time though....you may both have things you enjoy individually which doesn't include the other person.....such as he may want to go on a fishing trip or you may want to take a cruise to somewhere he doesn't want to go.
I would not only PREFER a man with his own individual hobbies....I would demand he have them. I wouldn't want some guy joined at my hip all the time.
