Is a year younger (19) than me and a Gemini which should get along ok with me (cancer).

We had a terrific time together once we left her apartment. While I was there I was not to impressed with her roommate and what I guess was her live-in Philippine boyfriend. The roommate, Carol, is somewhat mannish, big boned, loud, and crude. Carol's boyfriend is a little guy who I could mistake for a girl of about 11 years old. The couple just gave me the creeps and I was glad to leave them.

I really did not plan much. I was really nervous about the whole thing and was relieved to learn later that Jennifer was too. The first thing we did was return to the club we met at and had some drinks to calm down a little. It was to loud there to talk once we felt comfortable with each other so we left and drove not really knowing where. The weather was perfect and the car was pointed in the direction of Galveston so we drove there.

On the way we talked about school, our families, Andrea (I did not want her to be concerned that I have a waifish-model for a roommate). I really liked her more and more as she seemed so "together."

We parked and walked along the seawall in Galveston. Sounds really boring I guess now but time seemed to fly by. At some point I kissed her when the moment was right. She is just beautiful with long curly brown hair and large dark brown eyes. I really which I was better at descriptions. She is about 5'7" and I'd guess she weighs 130 lbs. Not thin, but this is good. I love her accent.

We left the beach and I drove her home. It seemed like we stayed in the car making out for an hour before she left. I called her the next day to make sure I could see her again and she INSISTED that I see her again!

I do not think "shopping around" is practical or necessary. I do not have time and Jen is really interesting and fun.

She's only gone for a short time. You could wait or you could have a great time waiting. It all depends on how you feel about it.

Yes, Rock. Interpersonal relationships are not easy, and love is even worse.

The best thing you can do is to enjoy yourself. That might be going out, and it might be studying or earning some cash. Try not to think too often about her, and if possible have some (online) conversations with her, even though she is gone for now.

It is only a short period of time, not an eternity. Try not to forget that, and hopefully time will fly away.

Yesterday afternoon my friend Sun-kist (Korean) and I sat around his apartment drinking rum and coke, watching ESPN, and thowing darts. This helped but I had to call into work sick (again). I'm now terribly hung over. This was the second time in the past few days and the hotel manager did not seem happy.

I wish I could just stop thinking of her on the one hand but on the other hand I enjoy having her memories. I seem to not be able to think of anything but her.

Maybe I should drive to Ranger this weekend to see her?

Thinking about your significant other is not a bad thing, if your drinking because of it then that's not overly healthy. I think it's mostly because you just met and now are seperated for a while, that'll be over soon because time always flies.

If you have the time and means to visit her then what exactly is holding you back?

LOL: My friend made up his name. His real name is "Soon-Kil." Said in English he believes and I agree is not very welcoming particularly to girls that he constantly chases. So he just calls himself Sun-Kist which sounds much less threatening.

Right now the future is a bit clouded by the fact that summer school begins next week. The drive to Ranger would take around 14 hours round trip, and I would need to do it around my work schedule, which means almost no sleep.
