DA, the only reason why we're upset is because we don't want to see you hurt over again and again.
No, this girl isn't 'the devil' and will probably grow up to be a nice women in the future. I don't have a crystal ball.
Whatever her reasons for breaking it off with you, it doesn't matter. I've heard a lot of excuses in my day.
"I had a slight moment of insanity."
"I love you, but I'm not 'in love' with you."
"My parents don't approve of our relationship."
"I was drunk and had a lapse in judgment."
Just for the record, none of those relationships ever worked out after I gave them 2nd, 3rd or even 4th chances.
Doesn't matter the reason, what's done is done. What I fear most is that you're going to guilt her into keeping some kind of relationship with you.
That won't be great for either one of you. You want her to be by your side at her own free will, not because it makes you feel good.
Whatever her reasons are for wanting to keep you in her life. Just remember this quote:
"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." - Dr. Samuel Johnson
I can't control what decision you make about her or what is going to happen. Another words, I can't protect you how I'd like to. I feel pretty helpless with your problem and that's where part of my anger comes from. Just know, I'll be here to listen, regardless.
Good luck and take care.
I'm off to Las Vegas. Bye everyone...
