I had a few blind dates like that. They WERE kinda ugly...but ugly with RANK!

YEP, when I was at my last job, I went to dinner with OLD OLD men all the time. ( I got paid for it) but it was embarassing.. most of the time I think folks must have thought I was out with my grandfather

Can't say I have. Never been on a blind date. I have rather high standards and don't want to risk a blind date being fugly. Sure they might have an awesome personality, but what good is that if I don't find you attractive? Yeah, maybe I'm a dick, maybe I'm a tad bit shallow, oh well what can you do?

I used to get set up on blind dates from officer wife friends....and I've been stuck with a few doozies! I was just in it for the free dinner and beer though...................... no pride here.

I went out with a gal and didn't want anyone to know about it. She was a nice girl but a bit of a nutjob which was part of the problem.

It did happen a couple of times. One of them was 20 years older than I - dated him for 4 months (highschool, I was experimenting, I dumped the poor guy the minute I got bored). I did try to hide it, but our town was such a small one!

The second one was a guy 8 years older that I - also in highschool. I think I've told you guys about him, he was a player. So I kept our dates a secret, as the guy had a really nasty reputation - I think he slept with half the living females in my town. I was right to keep him in the closet too.

The relationship died on its own, but I did keep a torch for the guy - you know, with him being a bad boy and all!

Other than that... I dated a few weirdos that I wish I had the brains not to be seen in public with, LOL.
