Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
Into the clouds, folks, describe your perfect marriage/relationshp. How would you go to make it happen? Would you be more patient and understanding, bite your tongue until you think things through, find a kinder way of getting through a heating conversation, etc.

Re: Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
I think my current relationship would be close to perfect, if we did not have to worry constantly about idiotic things like money.

Re: Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
Sorry luba,
I am not a person that allows to much fantasy into my life. I have a very well developed imagination but fantasy is better left alone. Head on my shoulders not the clouds. Dreaming about "perfect" isn't such a good thing at times.

Re: Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
The "perfect" relationship would be one where both people are completely committed to each other, no matter what comes their way... and no matter what happens, no matter how much time passes - they can still look into each other's eyes and see deep into the soul of the one that completes them.
I think that's the simplest way to sum up my idea of a perfect relationship.
:: sigh ::

A 70 year old Oil Tycoon that allows me to sleep in my own wing at the mansion.
That's my perfect relationship idea.

Re: Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
my perfect relationship is the one im in with fireblade.
we're open and honest about our feelings, we can talk about any subject and dont feel too worried to express our opinions on things. we listen and understand each others needs.
We have our share of arguments, but every healthy relationship needs this to maintain a balance. we always go over the reasons we argued and try to work out the best way to deal with the problem and usually come to an agreement pretty quickly. Mainly we make sure we understand what the problem was to begin with to ensure it shouldn't be a problem again.
we have the same interests, and also have a nice amount of differences to chuck in with the mix. both have high sex drives and a healthy sex life.
We understand each others need for space and closeness.share the same sense of humor, have the same friends. And both work hard at making sure the relationship stays a healthy one.
couldn't ask for a more perfect relationship

Re: Desribe Your Perfect Marriage/Relationship
I don't think there is a perfect relationship, but 2 people that are committed to have a healthy, nurturing relationship, and feed it on a daily basis is pretty close to perfect. Understanding and direction is key
