Default Cougars

You know what I mean when I say 'cougars'..don't you?
Mature women who date younger men.

What do you think about this topic? Do you agree or disagree and why?

------------------------------------------------------

Personally, I think it's GREAT! Older men date and marry younger women, why not the other way around?

I don't have a problem with it. As long as they are both adults, what is the big deal. I personally wouldn't want someone too much younger than me because of a maturity factor but that is me. If they care about each other then that is all that matters. We can't help who we fall in love with sometimes.

Unless the age difference is extreme, I see no problem with it. You love who you love, though I always preferred men a few years older than me.

I guess my only problem with women dating younger men is...

I have yet to meet a younger man that had an exceptional amount of intelligence to hold a conversation with. They rarely have enough life experience to fully grasp the things that interest me. I don't like being the guinea pig for the young and I'm finished teaching by 3:00 p.m., thanks.

I view women who date younger men as people who are only interested in one thing. Whether it is total control over the young man (mentally and emotionally) or just a physical thing, it can't be good for either party. Not in a long-term possibility anyway.

If it's not long-term, then it must have something to do with low self-esteem in the woman. I don't view it any differently than an older man wanting a younger trophy wife.

Meh... I'm not hating on it, do what you will. I still have my opinions and I won't do it myself anytime in the near future.

What do you mean Old Wild West?

If they are that old, they may do something similar to Reagan the actor. Believe that what the actor did was actually "real".

I personally have my cut off ages set to about 8-10 years older/younger. Of course this is my ideal situation but I s'pose if someone special enough was beyond that age window I could live with it.

My only restriction is that I can't date anyone near my daughters age or my mothers age, that's just too creepy for me.
