I just had a friend who visited there. He went to China Town and Gas City (something like that).....it made him AFRAID! He said he had definately wondered off to the WRONG part of town! LOL!
It rarely snows in Vancouver since most of it is at, or slightly below, sea level. It does snow in the mountains but it's wet, heavy, coastal snow. Nothing compared to the champagne powder we get in the interior of the province.
I hear you twinkle and sympathize more than you can ever know.
When I retire I will be sure to have a winter cabin (at least) somewhere in the interior of British Columbia where the average snowfall is no less than 20 feet.
