Samson...you'll probably go out, drink a beer, shoot a little pool and then go home to an empty house, wondering what to do with yourself. Life will seem empty without the wife and kids around.

Merika, 100-150 years ago, it was a point of honor for men, never to give a lady in (higher) society above 35. It is not you with the problem, but the men around you who can't appreciate you.
On datingsites women lie more often about their about their body (to 'appear' more attractive), and men about their commitment level (to appear as someone caring, sensitive).

Nothing like some peace and relaxation, huh?
My mom would adore to drop us off to grandma's place for a week or two during summer holidays... dad would be the first to miss us. Always loved him for that!

I've not yet totally indulged in personal ads

Details, Merika! We need details. Have you partially indulged? Are personal the same as online dating sites or for more short term arrangements? I know someone else (Lorro, Merika) who does online dating, she's gorgeous. It just suits her particular circumstances to meet people that way.

It's been about 57 hours since they left.
I suppose I've slept during 12.
Note to self: Why married men GENERALLY survive longer than single men? Because being single wears your a$$ out? Perhaps I'm trying to cram as much into my few days alone as possible. Last night spent at local pool hall has left mee in need of some rezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes, but I work during the day.
Poolhall again last night to enjoy 9-ball tournament. Unhappily, tatted-up-pierced-bisexual bartendress had the night off, BUT ......
Whooooopeeeeee!!!!: Some group that had a party at the joint had left a lot of food on a buffet!!!! FREEE FOOOD!!
Life's all about learning to appreciate the simple things, right?
Anyway, thought I'd almost come closer to completing one chore: Getting a DVD player installed into a Durango. Shop called me up yesterday sayin' it was ready. I show up and sound doesn't work. They send me to another shop, where I'm told they don't know what's wrong. I return to the original guy, drop off the vehicle, and drive away in a loaner empasi]zing that I DON"T WANNA BE CALLED UNLESS the freakin' thing is ready.
Two hour fiasco. Wouldn't have been a big deal except it happened during two very precious hours.

That's usually how it is when you are single. While you are married....you just THINK single people have an entertaining life. We spend more time alone, doing nothing, that most of us would want to admit.
