What if you spill something on it, does it warp?

Personally, I'd never buy one, they must weigh a ton.

I have seen this before. I thought Merika put a link to this somewhere once but I may be mistaken. I would not want it. Too heavy. I am trying to buy a laptop. Tired of the big computer.

Oh yea....that was the one Luba and I thought was so cool! I think it's beautiful and would love to have it. I don't care how heavy it is since I don't carry my PC around. It would just look wonderful on an old desk.

I do worry about the weight of my computer system since I sometimes take it to a buddies house for LAN parties.

also, i would think that the mouse and the keyboard would wear down pretty quickly. it would end up looking old fast.

too much work to think that you might eventually have to strip, stain and varnish your whole computer.

Actually, we made a lot of jokes on the fact that it was a Russian invention.

I would like it, for a desktop (and yes, as I spend a lot of time in the same place, that would be a good thing). If you use a strong wood, wear and tear would not be as great. And wood probably has no more issues with attracting dust than the plastics used for the mice. Performance would thus not suffer too much because of that.

Wood is not that heavy. It weighs (depending on type) roughly between 80% and 160 % of the same volume of water.
