My son just called to tell me he had been pulled over due to expired tags on his car. We just bought the car on Friday. The dealership put on those paper plates and gave him a temporary registration all which are supposed to be good until he gets the real thing. The police officer was understanding. I gave him the dealers cell phone and told him I would bring the paperwork to where they were but he said it would be fine. I am so frustrated. The cop was obviously looking for a reason to stop my son and the dealership should have known better. I can't seem to win where my son is concerned. This time it wasn't his fault but with his attitude, who knows about the next time. I guess the keys will be mine then. Just venting a little.
Also, my friend's son who has brain damage just turned 16 today. He should be out driving his new car too. I am so depressed. I want my son to make it through college before I kill him and I want my friend's son to get better. I think I only stand a 50% chance here. And right now, that is iffy.

So many changes at work the last few months and people are just not themselves, including me. I felt like I had lost myself yesterday and I'm training someone new again! Contrary to what people think, I do NOT like to talk all the time and it is exhausting...now I give my trainees the information they should know, tell them to take the time to digest it, so I can be QUIET!!!
Anyway, I feel SO much better today because I worked on my attitude early this morning and read some very great passages in my Inspirational books!

Didn't sleep well. Showered at 11 PM to relax, read some of my book Telegraph Days by McMurtry (one of my fav. authors) the woke at 4 AM, finished the book and hit the road.
I had to get out of the house.

Sorry to hear of your emotional state Luba. I know how it is to feel like you are going to lose it at work. I think it is at least a once a week thing for me. Keep smiling. You are my role model.

Thank you for your wonderful, kind, caring and thoughtful words today, tkdlady! I don't know why the grief has hit me like this a whole week later, I can't stop crying right now! I NEED to cry and haven't been able to until now and I have to go to work in an hour.

Sorry to hear that, Luba. Condoleances!
I've worked a LOT today. I don't especially like my boss but I adoooore my work. My bf's gonna come visit next Thursday, I can't believe it's so close. This week simply flew by. I haven't seen him in two months, it's been really difficult.
Long distance relationships suck. But it's nice to find love, even if it is complicated .
