Hmmm...I don't know what the kindest thing I've done for someone else is. That's a hard thing to judge...as it's based on their perspective.
I used to work in a nursing home and there was a little blind lady who either laid in bed or sat in a chair all day. One day she asked me how the weather was and I was telling her how nice it was. It was a perfect fall day. 70 degrees and a slight breeze. She sighed and said how she used to love the fall but since she'd lost her sight she had only been outside a handful of times, and that was only going to or from a vehicle.
As I finished my round, what she had said stayed with me. I kept thinking how'd I hate to be in her place. About 3 in the afternoon, close to my quitting time that day, I got permission from the charge nurse and I went in and bundled that little old lady up and put some real shoes (not house shoes) on her and took her for a walk. It was slow going, as she did little more than shuffle.
We headed down toward the creek. As we walked in the dappled sunlight on the bank she stopped. She just stood there for a minute with her head back. I was still in caretaker mode, and had gotten special permission to take her out, so I asked if anything was wrong. She said to me..."Honey, nothin's wrong...As a matter of fact...everything is just right..."
I stood there and let her enjoy the sound of the flowing water, the breeze across her face, and the crisp smell of fall on the air. As a matter of fact, I threw my head back and joined her.

wow! that's a tough question. I'm always doing something for someone that's nice so I can't pin point the best thing. I really and truly believe that you get what you give. If you do kind things to others, then it comes back around to you when you need it or least expect it.

Well I'll have to share where my root of kindness started 1st. When Noah was in the hospital in 2002 it was the holiday season. My friend entered me in to some contest and the raidio station gave me $500.00 a man heard this on the radio and matched what the station gave me so I received about $1,000.00 I lived at the Ronald McDonald house at the time and a faimly was here from some other county to get there 7 year old adopted son some type of transplant. They we're so wonderful and their little boy was much worse than mine but they supported me so much... The little boy was getting out a week later and he had already been thru so much, he was weak and was at the hospital for 4 months, the faimly stayed up all night praying for there child and mine.... Noah and I we're going to have a christmas anyways when we got home to our faimlies these people wouldn't so I took $500.00 and booked a hotel for them at Magic Kingdom at disney and bought them tickets for the magic kingdom. That little boy deserved to see the happiest place on earth!! and I never take credit for giving it to them it was the radio station who gave it to me so I killed two birds with one stone, they got a disney trip and when Noah got home he got one to

I brought a guy back from the dead, does that count as a good deed?
I was in the first Gulf War and there was this guy with asthma in the middle of a sandstorm. He got out of his truck, had a heart attack and dropped dead, no pulse, no breathing. We administered CPR and mouth to mouth until he was able to breath on his own and they medivac'd him out. Actually that was not so much an act of kindness as an automatic response.
I don't have any great act of kindness stories, but often I fix computers for people and if they can't afford it, I don't charge them.

Get a room.
Maybe I'll make an online dating service as an addition to this site.

Hey....Adonai and I have been friends for a VERY long time! Most of the time we actually DO behave online..... unless one of us is bored and feeling frisky!
