Such a typicaly male answer!! You think it's so easy to look lovely and desirable all the time? Ok, let's just take shoes for the sake of the example, will you? Try walking in medium high healed shoes all day - and make that one damn busy day. Add to that a mini skirt - not too short, but enough to make you damn uncomfortable when sitting. Don't forget the long hair and the make up. Outside it's friggin' hot so you're almost feelin' your mascara melting and you're trying to fantesize from time to time at Natalie Portman's option as far as hair goes...

It really sounds to me that you’re competing for the wrong kind of man. You shouldn't have to dress like a hooker to entice a man, that's just silly. If that's the way it is in France, then you need to find yourself a new place to live.

I think I am a bit overcompetitive, LOL, but I take care NOT to dress like a hooker. Medium high heels and a skirt don't equal high heels, but I think I understand what you mean.

When I have been to Washington I went out a bit and indeed, there is a totally different frame of mind as far as almost everything regarding men and women goes: from relationship, to dress codes, to friendship. Very different. LEt's say you are right, there are plenty plenty of women ready to proposition interesting things to fine looking men in bars. I mean it, I don't go to the wrong part of town and what I feel is this... agressivity almost when opposite sexes interact, especially given this type of place.

On the other hand, yes, we are talking about the classic one night stand approach, but still.

I didn't mean to analyse your post, my point was simply that it takes soooo much more effort to a girl to look nice than one would think and even more intelligence to give the right and not the wrong impression, as you've tried to suggest it.

P.S. I was only a bit pissed because I spent all day yesterday crossing PAris from one place to another, and I had to look nice because I was getting my papers for my internship signed. I was dead beat when I arrived home .

Actually, what's great about this Website, and by now you've read (and maybe not) how addicted I am to it!

Did anyone notice that they are sleeping better by getting their deepest, conversational, or silliest thoughts out? Usually I hear storms and rain, but when my husband asked my last night if I heard it, I said "What storm?"

This site is a great cure for Insomnia, anyone agree?

Got a little off the topic here; spent a lot of time reading so much of the forums this being a long weekend for me, and that's what I'm still doing, coming and going!
