What would you pack???
If you had 72 hours to pack up to get out of Dodge???
EXCELLENT web site!! http://www.72hours.org/index.html
I live in an area where it's a reality....but actually....everyone does and everyone should take a few minutes to plan ahead what they would need. Once I evacuated and was so upset....that I arrived at my destination with only bottoms for the kids and I.....I forgot the tops on the bed. Or maybe I was tipsy.... but it was a mess.

72 hours?
That's about 70 to 71 hours longer than it takes me to pack for 7-day vacations.

Seriously. I packed up and moved to another country in an hour. And I was drunk.

I'd pack up my daughter, some clothes, warm blankets, food and gas.

I think the thread would be much funnier, if we had to collectively pack the stuff, add things to the list, and possibly even remove things.
Legal documents. Tons of legal documents, and every bit of medical information I could lay my hands on.

I always pack at the very last possible minute. 72 hours is far too long.

OMG, I remember those "last minute" reports in school and you're all nighters before they were due...talk about painful times...
