When people swear at me for no reason.....I'm such a sweetheart....and modest...and humble, too

No, really someone did swear at me for no reason at work just because he was having a bad day and it was someone who I thought was a nice guy, but found out later he has a bad temper....

I don't like mean people either. I have no idea how they can justify acting like that. I am a truly nice person...many times even after someone is a total jerk to me.

I've been working on a way of getting back at the meanness of some people by saying a comment sweetly and quietly and getting them to feel rotten at the same time....unfortunately, I'm mostly taken aback at their rudeness...and only think of sweet ways of getting back at them at 3:00 a.m....too little...too late...

Well...that's what the Bible says to do. Sometimes it works...sometimes it seems not to work. At least you did the right thing though. I've ended up making a few friends out of enemies....but some people are just RUDE and need a good face shoving in the toilette.

It seems to me a lot of younger people think it's cool to act like that. Maybe they think it makes them more in command or something. I don't know.

There are older people who are mean too though.

I guess some people are just born with a 'burr in their butt'. (Southern saying....maybe you use it too.)
