What food do you cook best?
I wanted to ask what food you like best, but that's an easy one. What about your family or friends? What food do they enjoy you cook for them most?
My ex was crazy about my ragu pancakes and cheese pané. Personally, I like the gratinated patatoes and oriental salad !!! And I make a great apple cake - the only cake I know how to make!!
The reason for this thread is that I spent the week end at one friend's house and I realised that I really missed home cooking !

The best thing that I cook that everyone drools over are my honey-garlic chicken wings. I haven't made those in years (the price for chicken wings around here is way too high these days). I think i'll splurge and buy the wings in a couple weeks and break down and surprise my family and make it for them. I usually make mashed potatoes and broccoli & cawliflower with a cheese sauce to go with the wings. YUMMY! it really is to die for.

I don't enjoy 'nightly' cooking....but I do enjoy it for family holidays. Usually, I do whatever meat my mother has requested. Hams, beef/pork roasts.....things like that.
I can also make a perfect omlette....and usually make one every morning for Sn00py....who loves them.

what do you put in your omelettes? I make a killer omelette too that kassandra begs me to make her on a regular basis.
I make a 3 egg omelette. I put in green pepper, fresh mushrooms, onions and a slice of either mozzerella or havarty cheese. it's to die for!! I'm trying to stay away from them because i need to lose a few pounds but it's hard! I'm craving one so bad! LOL!

BBQ'd steak barely cooked and raw inside yet warm with a slightly charred outside (Chicago).
Sauteed mushrooms with the steak, there fantastic.
Vegetarian chili.

I can't cook either, as I suffer from a problem with my attention span. It is the same problem I have with coffee. I get absorbed in work easily, and forget about the coffee and things like that easily. The coffee turns only cold, but I can't risk a fire in the kitchen, .

I usually use 3 eggs..but can make it with two in a smaller pan. I put in it whatever we have at the time. It may be browned hamburger meat, cheese, noodles, bacon, ham, chicken....my kids don't care. As long as it's an omlette....they will happily eat whatever I put in it.

everyone loves my scrambled eggs.
I don't know what I do differently, but they taste different from other scrambled eggs I've had.
