Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
I hope you can be together again soon DA
I flew to Glasgow to see a friend who moved there a few months ago. It's the first time I've been there, it was really nice.

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
A sunny weekend is predicted (finally, it's been cold and wet); so I plan to start cleaning windows shortly!

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
I plan on finishing this news article I've been working on for the last week or so. As usual I've been working on my mission as well and just chillaxing.

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
Talked to my twin sister Mika on the phone this morning and that went great.I cleaned my garage today putting tools away and getting rid of garbage.Started on a new project also,a 1995 Neon being turned into an autorama car and my adoptive son kyle,a couple of my co workers at work helped.Did a strip down of the interior, removed the glass, welded the doors shut and moved the gas tank in the car.

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
I just got a phone call from my daughter and I'll be seeing her tonight and all day tomorrow. I think it will indeed be a Happy Fathers Day.

10 Hours and 55 miles
In Boulder County Colorado
Biked over to Mojo's Coffee in Lafayette, had a Soy Latte, dropped off film from DC trip.
Biked over to Boulder, had a Very Berry Drink at Jamba Juice.
Biked over to the Outlaw Saloon in Lyons, Lost count of the number of Left Hand Sawtooth Ales (on Tap) I drank outside in their Beer Garden. I'm guessing six. Had BBQ. VERY attractive waitresses, but a little hardened to the biker bar environs. Although I was the only customer in Spandex, I always get along great with bikers.
Biked over to The Pump House Brewery in Longmont. Had a couple of Wheat beers and a Hummas and Pita plate whilst considering the War Protesters across the street with the waitstaff, who all agreed that if I started a fight with them, it would be both ironic and good for business.
When I biked across the street they had all huddled together to introduce themselves. Since they began to huddle closer, speaking in whispered tones, I suppose I frieghtened them.
Anyway, the guy on a bicycle with a small motor belching grey smoke passed me. This distraction pissed me off, and I caught up with the dude at a traffic signal to ask, "What THE #$%& are you riding that smoky piece of &%$@ for?" He seemed ready to explain, hastily excusing himself for "putting too much oil in it." I just shook my head and said "For &*^%^&$....." riding off before creating some sort of scene.
Then I rode home, feeling very superior, until some apple bottomed girl passed me on her bike. I'm convinced that one of my favorite things about riding a bike is watching women, all of whom seem very attractive hunched over their bike's handle bars.

Re: What is Everyone doing this Weekend?
On Friday I did some serious shopping as Massimo Dutti has 40% sales. Today I went to my drawing class and it was fantastic. Still life - I felt as if I had two left hands. I am horrible at round shapes - it's only my second class, btw - but in the end, adding the tones and all... it turned out to be a really nice drawing. Charcoal is tricky and messy.
I need to go back to London today and I don't feel like it - I had a small glass of wine at lunch and I'd love to sleep. I guess I'll go and then I'll see an exibit.
Tomorrow I have my first tennis lesson. I should wash some clothes and clean up the appartment a bit, but I've had such a difficult week and I am just tired... Ok, gotta go, or else I'll be really sorry, lol!
