Samson.....I made a copy of that to send to my Mom who used to teach high school. I've heard her talk and I think she would concur what you outlined here is EXACTLY the way it goes for teachers.

Also...until someone has an 8th grader....the have no idea how 'unique' their little personalities (...ummm...or was that ATTITUDE) can be. It only takes about 5 minutes of dialogue with them before you get a mental picture of why child abuse occurs.

I've been so mad...I've had to get into my car and drive off just to keep from going into a frenzy.

I don't know how teachers do it. Just going to the middle school to pick one of mine up gives me a headache due to the hall noise.

Wow Samson, and I complain about my job, yikes. Thanks for the in-depth look into the reality of school.

Just think, even if you go to hell when you die, it will likely seem like a vacation now.

Considering how much time a person spends at work....is it really worth spending so much time doing something you hate?

Do you not like what you do or just don't like where you are currently doing it?

I like what I'm doing, just really hate the pay. I feel as I'm being taken advantage of every day I go there.

I am doing something about it though, it's just gonna take a while.
