I think I posted this somewhere.....but unknown to me the kids had taken odd jobs and surprised me for Christmas with wonderful gifts. I was SO SURPRISED!
They both got their own digital cameras and web cams.....along with other cool stuff.
We had a great Christmas.
I know what you mean Stoneheather....when kids are young...it's so easy to make them happy with the cheaper toys. I used to stock up at Dollar General with all kinds of toys.

You should find a good recipe and SURPRISE him with something! All you have to do is follow the directions. Anyone can cook.
I forgot to mention that Alkali got me a 'Dremel' which is for doing woodwork design which was WONDERFUL! I can't wait to break it out tomorrow and PLAY! (I'm kinda wierd in that I prefer power tools over jewelry!)

We had so much fun these past two days! Hubby played santa last ngiht for the younger kids at his side of the family's christmas night thing. I was the elf. I'd sayt hat krystal's favorite gifts were the make-up and gift cards she got, Kassandra's would be the sponge bob cookie jar and the gift cards, hubby's was the chocolates (he's got a humungous sweet tooth) and mine was the nice smelling perfume and pajamas.
I don't know what erika's favorite gift was yet cause she still can't talk. but I know that krystal was thrilled about opening up twice the amount of presents this year!

That's the cutest thing I've ever heard. I hope you have PICS of that to post! HAHA.
Did you have fun shopping for the Erika? The kids and I went to Babies'R'Us and saw the most wonderful things. They even have cribs now which VIBRATE. I thought that was too cool!
We bought the 'baby to be born' a couple of generic outfits (University of Florida Gator stufff!!!) and a bib which said 'SPIT HAPPENS'. We thought it was funny.

You got a COWBOY HAT....DA? Well...that's just toooo cute! I want a pic of that.
Duke.....I know about the icey heart. I got one too a couple of years ago. It's painful....... and maybe it's more painful because especially at Christmas.....you expect people to be just a little more thoughtful and kind.
Think of DA in the cowboy hat and Star in the Elf Suit.....it's gotta make you smile. LOL!

The two best things I got for Christmas: a phone call from Iraq and SNOW. I like the watch my hubby got me too.
My son Jason recently joined the Navy and I got him a sailor bobblehead. I think it's his favorite gift this year...lol! They never grow up.

Yeah Cindy- I'm soooooooo glad you got your phone call.
My BF and I did an ornament exchange so we'd have $ to get everyone else nice gifts (Plus we spoil each other all yr) He got me a scene from Gone With the Wind- Scarlett's gown even had a velvety overlay- I LOVED IT! (I got him a Peyton Manning ornament- he was a VERY happy boy)
We both made out pretty good this yr. Our bedroom is full of presents to put away- we may finish sometime before Easter LOL
My fave was probally the Scene It game my mom got me. Has anyone else played this? It's awesome. Also- my 13 yr old cousin made candles for everyone- mine smelled soooo yummy and I love that she made them.
