How long have you owned the vehicle you have and do you need a new one?

I've had the same 90 Thunderbird LX for years now. I picked it up for next to nothing at a local Ford dealership. It had only one owner and hadn't been on the lot for more than a few days when I bought it. The best part was that the dealership had no idea that the car had every available option known to man installed at that time.
It has power everything, automatic headlights with automated hi/lo beam, brightness control rear "tilt away" rear-view mirror, all safety features, air, etc. I love this car and will likely keep it for years to come.
Not to mention I have a pretty great stereo system installed with dual 12" subwoofers.

I don't have a car. No license. And it might remain that way.

I have a '93 hyundai with 150,000 miles. I plan on putting another 150,000 on it. It get's great mileage and I don't have to put any money into it.

Don't get me started with cars...I'm 23, I've had 5 of them, though I can say I've paid for all of them, not my parents.
When I turned 16...'90 Nissan Hardbody Pickup, bought from Dad for $1200
WHen I turned 17....'97 Chevy S-10...parents paid $1000 in lue of me going on a senior trip, since they dished out $2300 for my sister to go on a senior trip. I traded in the Nissan for another $1000 and financed the other $6500 with my healthy $5.85/hr McDonald's manager wages
When I turned 20...I was working at a papermill through school making more money than I knew what to do with, but I was driving 120 miles a day to work...broke down, bought a new car, 2003 Nissan Frontier. It had 7 miles on it when I drove it off the lot.
Turned 22...moved back home from school because I was suicidal at the time, traded my dad my pickup for his old Taurus, positive equity in the Frontier was higher than the value of the Taurus, so I actually lost a bit on this deal...but he used the thing alot more often than I did, and he was going to trade his Taurus in for a pickup anyway.
4 months later, I traded in the Taurus for my Camaro. Paying on it right now. Hopefully I'll have it paid off in about a year which is 3 years early. It should last me a while, but it does need a brake job, and a new radiator. Knowing me though, I'll never be satisfied with one vehicle for too long of a time period.

hehe...Rustang...heh
but I can't talk much since I'm driving a Slowmaro.
Especially since it's only the 6. A Turbo only costs $3000...only...I say that like it's affordable.

HA! Is this a hint? I've had mine almost 5 years but it wasn't new when I bought it. I do need a new one. I'll get it when I win the lottery.

I'm too cheap to buy a new car, I'd have to be rich before I ever did that. I simply can't stand the thought of driving a new car off a lot just to lose over 5000 in depreciation when I've gotten less than 100 yards away.
