Yes I do. I hate my computer being a mess with downloaded stuff that I don't want so I wouldn't do that to anyone else's computer. My kids now know not to download anything without asking me first.

I agree I would never ever mess with anyones stuff. evern at work I don't think it's approiprate to download things. Long Story short my friends Downloaded crap at my home and at my work and now my computers are all messed up.... I think it's pretty darn rude.

It's extremely rude. Now you'll spend hours cleaning up her mess she's made.
At our last job, there were 4 managers in the office. I had the best computer (the brand new one) and when I wasn't working, one of those managers used to use it all the time. It used to make me mad because she'd always be screwing up her computer and somehow, my printer wouldn't work after she had her hands on mine. Files would be missing. I hated it.
I find it disrespectful and very rude.

I always come home and see my brother using my computer. That annoys me, especially when I suggest he get off my computer he tells me to use my laptop instead.

I've downloaded things onto my friends computers but with their full knowledge and consent. I don't like the idea of anyone doing it to my computer unless I know what their dl'ing, why and where it's going. One little virus can wipe out 12 GB of my life, this and my other sites backup files, plus countless software applications such as games, music/media and art software.

This is why each of my kids have their own puter. We used to share one and it was just a MESS! Everytime I got on there there were pop-ups for IM's, new programs I knew nothing about and sometimes they would even change all the screen colors.
A computer is something which is too hard to share because it's too personal in how you set it up for yourself. I wouldn't even share one with a husband if I were married.

It's not so bad if you have Windows XP because you children have their own identities and can login/logoff at will. It's just important that you have background programs running such as AVG, SpywarBlaster and enable them so they always activate at computer startup and your computer will likely never be invaded. If so, a quick scan by Ad-Aware will clean up the few files that SpywareBlaster missed.

I have three rules. I don't share my:
1. Computer
2. Vehicle
3. Man
Out of those three things....if I don't have one that belongs just to me...I'd just as soon not have one at all.

You know Merika, it really seems as though you like men from a distance but can't stand us once we get close. Is that a fair comment or am I talking out my rear as usual?
