Is there a right or wrong?

Should you paint your toenails the same color as your fingernails or is it ok to have different shades.

I try to keep them the same but if they aren't it's hard to tell since I basically use neutral tones to begin with. I've been on the beige-fawn color chart for a long time. I find if I stay in those colors I have to paint my nails less. It's something I really don't like to do.
