Telephones...

1. Do you always answer when they ring, even if you're in the middle of something, or...
2. Do you check your Call display to see if it's someone you want to talk to? or...
3. Do you let the answering machine get it if you don't have Call display?

Personally, after having to answer the telephone in twenty-two years of Retail, I let my answering machine get most of the calls. That's why I love e-mail, if there is no time, it's short and sweet.

I also had a friend that would call at the most inappropriate times and just wouldn't get the message that I needed to get off even when I told her so....I guess between the two, Retail and my friend, I just don't care for phones.

1. Depends on what I am doing. At work, if I am talking to someone I don't usually answer unless they are just shooting the breeze with me and I need them to leave.

2. At home I check the caller ID and if I know them and I can talk right then I will answer.

3. If I don't know them I let the answering machine get it.
