Site Down Today?

Was it just me or was the site down for a while this morning? I think it's likely that Canaca suffered some sort of internet access meltdown because even their site was offline. They don't care much about the customer, but their site is always up come hell or high water.

I wonder if Canaca has someone else host their site for them.

Do you have any idea for how long it was down?

I really want to stick it to Canaca in my goodbye letter and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Beareau of Canada once I've moved to a new webhost.

Well at least the problems are intermittant in nature now. Anyone remember the hassles we went through around last Christmas?

it wasnt 2 or 3 months straight, just out a few hours a day everyday.

No it was pretty much 2 or 3 months straight. I'm not referring to the site being down, I'm referring to the fact that it took forever to open pages and especially post. Does anyone remember how many double and triple posts we had just from how long it took the db to recognize it even had a new request?

That was by far the worst experience I've had as a webmaster to date.

I counted my e-mail complaints to Canaca and it was just under 200.
