I've found what seems to be a good interim host but transferring the sites will be interesting, as they don't really support phpnuke. I hope to be transferring either today or tomorrow and have, at least this site, running on a better server by Thursday or Friday.
I complained to Canaca that the site was down as soon as I noticed it on their 15-minute "urgent" reply line and still hadn't heard anything over an hour later. I'm not sure what time the sites actually came back online.
Does anyone know what time we were back up and running?
BTW, sorry for the inconvenience here guys and gals, I am working toward fixing the problem

I did speak with temi a while back about webhosting but my problem is that I'll be requiring huge amounts of bandwidth by the end of this year. Temi wasn't able to help me much with the bandwidth.
Temi is currently putting together a reseller package for UKWMW members and if it sounds like something I can use then I may sign up. Nothing is written in stone currently. The new provider I have has a one month money back guarantee and I may need it since phpnuke isn't supported and I'm not able to create a working postnuke site over the course of a weekend. Not to mention I have no idea how database integration will work between the two languages.
Essentially, I ended up in a position (through my own fault and good faith) where I require an interim immediately. They offered 5 mysql databases and 10 GB bandwidth per day with 5 GB storage plus daily backups. Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for minus phpnuke.
Again, I'll be keeping my eyes open at what temi has to offer, but if the bandwidth is low and the price is high then I can't do it. I simply cannot afford more than 25 - 30 bux CDN per month for a reseller or webhost package and I must have the bandwidth, databases and server space. I'm also only interested in redundant systems with good load balancing, this one pipeline BS from Canaca assures you that your site is down most of the time.

I can't access the site through lifesupporters.com anymore, it takes me to some Ultralight-led bird migration site owned by Operation Migration Inc. I had to try for 10 minutes to get on here by lifesupporters.net. I can't access my site either.

Apparently, something is eating up Canaca's system resources and their blaming it on me. I finally got a phone call after threatening to park my car in their lobby, a tech told me something I'm running is hogging bandwidth. Of course I see nothing that points to that either here or in my Ensim Control Panel so I'm at al loss as to what the hell their talking about.
I can guarantee you this, get used to site outages for the next week or so. I'll be upgrading to phpnuke 7.5 or higher and upgrading the forums to the latest version of bbtonuke on all sites.

Ovi....I know how you feel! It's been taking me awhile lately too. I'm glad Duke is looking into making other arrangements.
