Default Saturday Night......

I'm heading for Alkali's house to drink a few beers....so I guess neither one of us will be posting during our cut throat game of cards. HAHA! We play seriously.....

I hope everyone else has a fun plan for themselves. Sn00py and Isis are watching movies....what are YOUR plans? I have to know since I can only account for 4 members here.

HAPPY SATURDAY!

I'm walking around with no pants on as usual. I'll be trying to finish the newsletter today and tomorrow as well as trying to find a new template for kidzone. It doesn't sound like much but these two tasks will take me the remainder of the weekend. It doesn't help that I worked today either so half of my Saturday was wasted but at least I'm getting paid overtime for that now.

I didn't watch the movie because hubby fell asleep so I let him sleep.

so my saturday night consisted of tryig to get the photoshop 7 to work properly, trying to figure out the flash (man is that confusing!! lost there! 8O ) and working a little with dreamweaver. which I think i can learn fairly quickly.

now my eyes are all buggy and i'm feeling like i need to go to bed but i don't want to. I'll just keep on answering posts. LOL!

As far as Dreamweaver is concerned, find a site you like, go to View\Source and copy and paste all the code then drop it into a new document in Dreamweaver, it's the quickest way to learn.

Flash has zillions of tools and options that I have no idea what they do but the best advice I can give you on learning that reasonably quickly is downloading flash files and opening them in flash to see how their built.

i'll try that.

going to websites and pasting the source is how i learned how to do anything about building webpages. LOL! i usually keep the source and replace the words and graphics.

but that flash! WOW! i didn't know what the hey i was doing there! LOL! I'll look for some flash files too.

You can work on flash every day for the next 10 years and never fully understand it. It's just that powerful of a program.

You can import flash into Dreamweaver but you can't create flash files in it.

It's not compulsory for you to even try flash, I was just curious if you knew anything about it because I'm self taught and thus don't know much. I think you've seen my Lifesupporters Flash Banner. It's not bad for my first major flash file but it's horrible when it comes to optimizing and pre-loading images.

I'm self taught at everything i know as well. i'm not scared to learn it, I just think it'll take me awhile to figure it out and be able to make one thing with it. LOL!

I've made a few things but it took me forever to get to that point. I wouldn't worry about it too much, I just felt the kids site needs ton's of flash because many of the bigger ones do.

Sn00p's has put together some good flash oriented stuff....he just doesn't know how to download it onto his webpage. He has done all graffics and music to co-ordinate though. It's very impressive.

I've worked like a sicko to finish a study case thatmy French collegues were supposed to have already finished.... sent it all last evening an nothig!!!!!

What did I do last night...?

My bf was supposed to arrive at 7 PM and we were either to go see a movie at the theatre either to watch "the Exorcist" on dvd. He got here at about 9 PM, which allowed me to properly finish my study case. He bougth a pizza - I think world's most disgusting pizza, I coudln't eat a bite, so at 9:30 I was cooking me dinner. He had no problem eating it though. Yukkkkk!

One good friend of mine called me to go out and have dinner together (refused 'cause I am still sick) and... oh, I was forgetting the goody goody part: remember the girl who hit on my bf? Well, she's sending him messages right now. Asking him if he couldn't help her chose and transport her BED!! My bf asnwered her that he was away with ME on a week end skying (lied ).

And then she messaged him again, telling him that she can't wait to see him again... and that she had a question and was wondering if my bf could help her.

 Bitch!!!!

What made me even more furious was the fact that my bf was all flatted about these messages. "Yup, she's inlove". "I mean it's normal, once you've got Lud, you've got the best!!!"... This attitude of him makes me really unsure of myself. Had a conversation, almost fought in bed...Sish... he had to get up at 4:45 in the morning today, so I let it rest, so that he could get some sleep. Told me he loved me... I told him he had a funny way of showing it... oh, well...

Tday I'll probably be working on another project... so yeah, one great week end for me too!
