Pocket Size PC
http://www.oqo.com/
This is about the coolest thing I've seen in awhile. A computer which fits in your pocket. It's only around $2000....which is a good price considering the product.
I'd buy one if I had the money. I wouldn't even have to think twice about it. How about you?

That is really cool but i wouldn't pay 2 grand for it. i'd probably wait until the price goes down before buying one. I'm wondering about cd-rom drives? must be a smaller one???

I can't see it having a floppy drive either for that matter and I do use that to save small files. the keyboard is extremely small! imagine all the typos we could do with that one! 8O

wow, at first i thought that was a hoax.
I think i'd rather buy a palm pilot and get a wireless card and an external keyboard, rather than paying 2000 bucks.

lmao Samson, you nailed it.
The rumor is that CD's, DVD's etc., will all be gone inside of 10 years (prolly much less now). They have a maximum that there capable of spinning at which limits how fast they can actually read/write. I've heard the future is re-recordable data chips or something to that affect. If thats the case then there's really no problem loading up something that small with all the required goodies.

I think it will be a better seller than laptops. It's too versatile and easy to carry.

I'd prolly buy one but I'd have to wait until they make one that will cram a 4 GB processor in it so I can use it as a Gameboy.

I think that, just like cassettes, it will be a very logn time before CDs and DVDs go out of the main resource for what they're used for now.
It would be VERY nice if compact flash cards would be integrated into audio devices as well as cameras and PDAs, made so you could store 5, 20 maybe 40 gigs on one, and also be fairly cheap (under 100 bucks for 5 gig card).

It has a USB port....so you could also use one of the portable deals which holds around 1GB that are the size of a cigarette lighter.

Oh it will be some time before there phased out entirely but they will be replaced by smaller, faster and larger storage capacity hardware, what it will be remains to be seen. It does seem likely it will be some type of memory chip because it's the only thing small enough that will fit into the electronic devices of today.
