I rarely shop online unless it's something that's not available in stores. Most of what I buy I'd rather see in front of me.
At some point I will be linking with online shopping sites but not for now. That is, unless you guys want me to, then I will.

Prolly a small bit, I gotta stop donating money sooner or later.
I'm not here for money anyway(which is obvious as you don't see a donate block anywhere). I'm here to give people a place to go to when their having trouble or feeling alone.

I don't buy that much stuff, but a fair amount of what I do buy is from the internet.

I actually thought of putting up links to online shopping for comic books and posters at Hobby-Universe.Lifesupporters.com.
I'd only do it if the people who purchased products from that site saw some serious discounts though.

most sites give 5% of what sales come from theit sites...just link to alienware and u are set,lol...though it might be hard to generate sales.
I have always tried to find ways to cut costs of my sites, donate boxes and ads, never got a penny, though i expect u would prolly do a better job at it.
oh and back to the original topic...i like buying stuff on the internet if its a lot cheaper. most of my internet transcations involve gambling...i play poker for real money.

I'll likely link to Alienware and other computer and computer accesory stores in the future when my sites actually see some serious traffic.
The problem becomes that I refuse to have obtrusive ads, pop overs, pop unders, scrolling marquees or wav files that loop every time you refresh.
If that's what it's going to take to put some money into my pocket then I won't bother. I will be offering a tiered membership structure about 6 months to a year from now where people can donate to the site and a favorite charity at the same time but that's only if it's deemed a good idea by the members and guests.
This site has never been about money anyway, sure it would be nice to put some green in my pocket (I'd be lying if I said otherwise) but regardless of profit or lack thereof, this site will always remaing free for membership in it's current form.

Or perhaps some odd white background multi-colored paper with a picture of the queen.

I think selling site related stuff is totally acceptable and the funds SHOULD be used to defray some of the costs involved. It doesn't mean you are in in soley for the money.....but we DO live in a world where we NEED money and make it where we can. I don't consider that the slightest bit of conflict.

I will link to shopping eventually but it will be a central link page that can be reached from all of the sites in the Lifesupporters.com Network. This is really only the beginning stages of realizing the dream and it may not be fully realized for another few years.
I hope your all still here with me when that time comes. I can't even imagine what the future will bring for these sites and their members but I'm excited as hell to find out.
BTW, in the off chance that something happens to me, my daughter said she would keep the sites running. I'll also get other back ups just in case.
