Default oktoberfest

this year when my friend from HS visits me in 2 weeks we are going to celebrate oktoberfest, i found this german beirgarten to go to, with german food and beer, the menu is even in german, and they sell beer by the liter. So i told my friend that im gonna hit on the waitresses in german to see if they understand me, it will be fun.

That sound like quite a bit of fun. Are you planning to bathe in beer, DA? Presumably it is quite healthy.

How good is your German? Konnte Sie mich verstehen?

Not perfect German. But good enough to make yourself understood.

Actually....I'm not fond of German beer. Don't like wurst either.

Maybe Duke is right (for once)...it has nothing to do with an international holiday. I just drink beer cause it's there.

My German is not that great but give me about 3 liters of good german beer and I can sing in German with the best of them. "Bier hier Bier hier oder ich fal um... " (Bring a beer here, before I fall down)
