Northeast Winter Storms
The Northeast winter storms.
I guess BA is somewhere in the middle of that. We aren't getting snow...but it sure has been COLD! I've spent the weekend in sweats and socks. I know most airline flights were canceled over the weekend.
Did this also effect Canada?
From the weather site:
Blizzard warnings remain posted from New York City to Boston this morning as a powerful Nor'easter slams the Northeast with heavy snow and high winds. New York City already has seen over a foot of snow with as much as a foot and half likely before the storm winds down this evening. In Boston, 10 to 15 inches are forecast with more in the western suburbs. Drifting and blowing snow will make travel difficult if not impossible in many areas from Philadelphia to southern Maine over the next several hours.
The snow is tapering off in Washington, D. C., now after dropping around 8 inches on the city. Baltimore got almost a foot, but the snowfall is slackening there also. Philadelphia has a foot on the ground with more expected over the next couple of hours before the snowfall diminishes this afternoon.
The greatest snowfall totals so far have been reported from northern Maryland (Columbia, 21.3") and York County, Pa. (Shrewsbury, 18.5").

I don't know. It's kinda odd. By now, out winter should be almost over and it's actually the first real winter we've gotten this year. I'm not complaining because I'm nice and toasty inside....but it sure is cold and windy outside.

I walked for over 2 hours last night (in total) in this crap. I thought I was going to freeze to death. And the sad part is, last night was warm compared to where I used to live - back there last night was sweatshirt weather lol.
I've been spoiled. Last winter I was drinking beer under palm trees wearing shorts and a t shirt and this year it's been on average 45-55 F....NOT FAIR I TELL YOU! GO AWAY COLD!

It's not the weather's fault. YOU are the one who moved out from under the sunny palm tree. 8)

It got too hot for me working outside every day for 10-12 hours
You know it's too hot when you are working outside and your shoes literally stick and leave a shoe imprint in the asphalt.

Between the asphalt and the snow.... I don't know which is worse with a shoe print. Working outside is hard in ANY kind of weather.

Screw working outside in the cold. I take shoe sticking asphalt weather any day. Atleast you can feel your fingers when it's uber hot out.

It's still snowing here. I went out for awhile in it trying to make a snowman in my front yard but its wayyyyyyy to windy. We are spoiled my brother in law comes by and plows our driveway and does our stairs and walkway. Been drinking hot chocolate and sitting in front of a fire watching movies most of the day. Ughhhh I bet I gain 5 pounds today lol
Can't change the weather so you might as well make the best of it.

Can you get out and drive or anything? I have a friend in New Jersey and he said they were just stuck. Even here in Florida we have 51 degrees as a high for tiday....which is pretty darn COLD for us.

I thought the state stuck together regarding these things. You are certainly closer to THEM than the OTHER team!!!
BTW: Thanks for the email...I also forwarded it to Twinks.
