My holidays
In about 6.5 days I will be boarding for the US. To spend Christmas and New Years there - almost a month. 2 days before, I will probably be on for the last time this year.
First a couple of days of Atlanta, GA and then all the holidays in Memphis, TN.

Thanks. After the last time, my biggest worry is Customs and Immigration officers. :? Pretty paranoid by now .

Luckily not. But after last tme (which got me seriously worried), it is a bit hard for me to cast aside the doubts.
But once in, we have a lot of things to do in Atlanta, in only 2.5 days or so. A busy schedule in the first couple of days. After that, it should calm down.

Day 1:
Flying to Chicago, no problem.
In Chicago, about half of all the flights were cancelled. Mine luckily not. When I arrived in Atlanta, my baggage had not arrived. My gf met up with me there, and we decided to let the baggage be delivered to the hotel.
12.15 AM - fire alarm. We were just in bed, after gruelling 20+ hour flights. We quickly dressed up, got down to the hallway. Luckily my gf had her bag - with a credit card. We had to pay upfront at another hotel, to spend the night there. What fun - two zombies having barely a couple of hours of sleep before the second day comes around.
We needed to go to the airport, to catch a train, and to check my baggage. When we were aboard the shuttle, I realized I had left my wallet in the hotel that caught fire. So we went there - and when waiting for the next shuttle, the airport delivery service came. With my bag! We got a free ride as well.

I had no problem getting in the country. All the officials were pissed off with my countrymen who still had to fill out the forms at the check points. I had filled out everything, so it was a piece of cake.
We had to move a ton of stuff of my gf. Guess who was the mule? And then drive from Atlanta to Memphis. A lon | |
