Movie Sequels
What do you think is the best movie which ended up being a series of movies? Movies like Jaws, The Godfather, Star Wars, Harry Potter - etc. Do you ever watch the second/third/etc one with as much enthusiasm as you watched the first or do you think it ends up ruining the original movie?
Are there any movies you would like them to make a sequel to?

Don't like sequels, they never seem to be as good as the original and way too overdone

To quote the Red Guy: "The original is always best."

I thought Star Wars had good sequels so did Indiana Jones. About half of the Star Trek movies were good. I also like the Harry Potter series. I can't wait until the next one. My daughter got me hooked on Lord of the Rings. Most comedies don't do well with a sequel in my opinion nor to love stories. I didn't like the Speed sequel, the Under Siege sequel, or the Matrix sequels.

If you have ever seen Young Frankenstein there is a scene where the doctor and his female assistant are trying to figure out how to get the fireplace to move so they can enter the secret room and when they figure it out the doctor gets caught between the wall and the fireplace. He tells the woman to "put the candle back" in a strangled voice and I use that one a lot when I get into a sticky situation. I love that line.
