Miserable People
A bit of a funny story actually, my daughter and I were standing in line at a local supermarket the other day, along with plenty of other people. This time of year the stores are more full than normal and it would seem tempers scale similar.
Anyway, we're standing in line but off to the side so as not to crowd the isle, just like everyone else. This lady comes straight out of an isle and barges in front of us in the lineup. I'm not sure how it wasn't obvious that she cut in front of us since we'd already been there about 5 minutes or so with our goodies. She notices us and asks if we were in this line, which I responded yes. Then she goes off on some tangent about how rude I am for not saying something and giving her some look that I apparently gave then gets in line behind me. I don't recall any look other than the possible shock that was on my face from her cutting in but it happened fast enough where I hadn't really the time to tactfully say something.
Well she kept on going on about how rude I was in front of my daughter who was as much in disbelief as I was. I turned to her and actually commented on how her actions now aren't exactly the model for tact and she admitted to being rude then walked away in disgust telling me to leave her alone. My daughter and I just stood there as if drenched by a sudden, unexpected storm. It was so stupid it was actually funny.

Some people are so ignorant. I can't believe the nerve some people have.
We were shopping one day at the grocery store. This really old man bumped into my buggy. My buggy was in the way and I was trying to get it out of the way but i guess he wasn't patient enough so he hit it instead then laughed! I didn't get angry or anything then his wife says....move it out of the way! really rude like. So then i told her that i was trying to do that but i couldn't really because of his buggy being in the way. He then hit my buggy again with his!!! well then I gave him a dirty look and hubby said what a miserable old goat. The nerve! I couldn't believe that a person would actually do that! I had the baby in my buggy too! He was a miserable old goat!

The most miserable barman in the world once asked me if I thought he was made of glasses (when I ordered drinks at the bar).

OMG!! I think I would've reminded him that he is the bartender! LOL!
I always say....if you don't like your job that much that you have to treat people like crap, then find a new profession.

Some people are just grumpy and mean. I wonder if they are like that all the time or just save it for those special times when they are in public or at work?

I'm sure that for some it's really a way of life while others just lose it in certain situations. This chick was clearly a spaz and I'm thinking likely always will be.

lol are you kidding me, we'd kill each other in a matter of minutes. If I didn't take her out my daughter would plot her death for me.

I like people who react the same all the time. They don't have moody days or get all sensitive on you.
No matter how bad my day or life is going.....no one at work or in the store know it.

How would a person tell the difference if they are over-reacting or simply reacting to any particular situation? Too bad we don't have a little built in meter to let us know these things.
