laughing to improve mood
I just found out how laughing can change my mood. I was in a down mood and my favorite show(that 70s show) came on and was funny and i felt better.

A movie or something can temporarily change my mood, but all it takes if for my toast to fall on the floor butter side down, my glass lens to fall out or stub my toe on the coffee table and I'm back to fumin'.

yeah well it didnt last, just til i went to bed, so then i cried it out and should be better for at least a little while, i just nee 3 days of feeling not down while my friend from high school is here.

laughing is the best medicine for de-stressing. you have to laugh.
One thing that i do when i feel down is try and think of the good things i have in my life. One thing I've learned in my life is that everyone has a story, everyone's life sux to a point. it could always be worse. I've trained myself to look at the upside of things rather then the downside. "turn that frown upside down" so to speak. it works for me.

I thought that excercise was the best way to remain happy due to the release of endorphins <sp>.

I think that every individual is different on how they handle their happiness and downtimes. i don't excersice. the only excersice i get is when i run around the house cleaning it or walking in the mall shopping and i'm happy most days.
endorphins. what are those? never heard of that before.

its kinda complicated ill post why when i get a chance.
update: ill explain now and will clarify anything thats unclear when im sober. Basically, i like my friend, and she doesnt like me back and i tried and it didnt work out and i still like her and its been about a year now. She has tried to get closer friendship with me and talks about guys she likes and i have really bad jealousy and so i ended up really sad when she isnt into me at all. I dont understand it, she is right for me and im right for her, so i end up sad when she doesnt like me. I also feel bad about the fact hat i feel this way.

DA, precious time is wasted on trying to get a relationship with someone if they just aren't into it...it sounds like all she wants is friendship, there is no use in beating yourself up trying to make it different...
Make new friends, you are such a good person! I hope I don't sound matter-of-fact and cold about the situation...quite the contrary! I used to spend loads of time myself on friendships that just weren't going anywhere, and I just stopped. No kidding...just said I wasn't going to do it anymore...and...what a relief!!!
Now I'm more into positive relationships and what a difference...less baggage, too! JMHO
