Just a Quick Roll Call
Is there anyone who has posted recently who may not have the new site addy? If you think of anyone....perhaps someone has an email for them or an idea of how to reach them.
Paul posted a forwarding addy on the old site.....but perhaps not everyone found that post.

I didn't see that post either. I was hoping that the re-direct page would take care of everyone but it clearly took more than a few days to get recognized across the web by people who use Internet Explorer. Firefox users saw it within the first hour and neither my webhost or I know why.

I was thinking more about Oviedo (sp?) who hasn't posted since we moved over and I don't know how to reach him.

Ya isn't it strange how that worked Duke? The post I put up worked for a couple people but for some reason IE just seems to take longer to update this info for people. :?

I see ovi everyday, he knows where we are, he was just part of a post exchange program that a few of us are enrolled in and satisfied his requirements here. He may be back again but the site inconsistancies have really hurt our traffic stats.

I'm pretty sure that all web application tap into the DNS revolver built into the OS. I think web browsers all have their own DNS cache.

Regardless, this has actually served to make me rely on Firefox more than I did in the past. There's simply no excuse for a webpage to take 3 or 4 days to be recognized by IE and by Firefox in under an hour.

Good question, the last I think I remember hearing was that he moved out of his situation and ended up somewhere in the b00nies for a bit. I'm not 100% sure if this is the case but I hope he returns soon, he is missed.
He may have been lost in the jumble when the sites went down the last time so I'll see if I can dig up his e-mail address and ask him whats up.
