I'm a Grandmother!
My first grandchild was born today!!! Her name is Rylie Jae.
I guess the Rylie is for Royce, my son. Jae is my daughter in law's first name. She ended up having a c-section....but everyone is fine.
I'll catch up on the posts when Chloe and I get back from St Augustine tomorrow. I just wanted you guys to know why I wasn't online. I'll post her pic as soon as I have one.
I'm soooo EXCITED!

Lol, you sound like MErika asking Star if she was sure she wasn't pregnant!!! Funny as hell to us, not as fun to them, I think!

HAHA....on getting another one any time soon. My oldest son and his wife only want one child....it's just their own choice. I'll have to wait on Chloe...and yes....I hope there's quite a few years before that happens.....but as Star can testify....you never really know.
I guess Grandbabies are much like like....you take them as they come.
I do feel wierd though and still haven't picked out a Grandma type of name. I am still partial to Nanny.
Jae, my daughter in law, had to have a C-section and is still in pain. SHe'll go home on Thursday. I plan to go down on Friday to clean the house for her.....even though my son took a months vacation and she took 3 months. They both have great jobs. I just offered as an excuse to hang around the baby. LOL!

i stuck with gramma and gerry's grampa. she'll call my mom mammy and my dad pappy. Gerry's mom refers to herself as gramma with erika which kinds of burns my arse because she's not the grandmother, i am! I guess my parents have a little more respect for me then she does.
Nanny's nice merika. i'd be like you if my situation was different. i'd be right in there helping out just to be close to the baby too. LOL!
