Stone, I know you live in an area that runs a lot of risks with hurricanes. I am not too sure whether you mean forever, or whenever a hurricane strikes.
But where would you go to? You have a million and one commitments that require you to be close to where you are. You might as well get a second home for hurricane season then, that is outside of the normal danger areas.

i feel so bad for you stone. I couldn't imagine picking up and leaving all the time because of hurricanes. what a nightmare!
it would be a good idea to find a small place in "safe zone" for times like this. wow!

Ironically, me and my mom were planning on heading down there.
We have tickets to see the phantom of the opera play in ft. lauderdale on saturday.
Though, we may have to stay home now.

After all that's happened I'm not sure why anyone would even attempt to live in those areas anymore.
I feel so bad for you and your family stone, you've really had to endure a lot of hell over the past year.

According to what i saw on the news, hurricanes are on a 20 year cycle, 20 years of mild then 20 years of heavy...so if this is just year 2...

Regardless, I'm just glad I have no reason to live there and no ties to anyone that I need to visit there.
Stone, have you ever thought of moving permanently from the area?

Only to go to Canada BABY!! jkjk
Yes I have but everything I do and know is here.. my state license for my job is here, my friends & Faimly ect. I would love to pack up and move.. if my parents came . They are HUGE parts of my children & my life and the only people who keep me grounded.
As a cracker I have never seen snow.. I don't know if I could ever handle the cold weather.
