i still cant figure out girls

Tonight I went to this republican event and was talking to a girl all night(and getting really drunk) open bar...then when we left she wanted me to walk her home and the club president, well they ended up hooking up and i ended up being the stupid 3rd wheel and now im all annoyed.

i have to agree with duke on this one DA. a really drunk guy isn't impressive at all. I never liked a guy that was really drunk. it's a turn off actually.

Duke's right. The whole really drunk thing doesn't work. A good buzz never hurt though. Just drink enough to get the confidence up, and then tone it down.

I didnt go there on a date with her, it was a party, i didnt meet her until that night and i wasnt expecting to like her, so thats why I was drinking.

Nothing wrong with drinking while you are out, but above a few drinks it impairs your chances to meet girls, and walk / drive them home.

DA, your entire life revolves around which girl may pay attention to you at any particular moment and the possibilities of romance. For this reason alone, getting drunk is something you should never do until you find a significant other.

You have no control over where and when you may meet the future Mrs. DA so why would you take the chance of blowing it before it ever had a chance to begin?

I wouldn't go that far. If he devotes his entire life to finding a women just right for him he's gonna go insane. Go out, have fun, don't get too drunk where you look like a clown (you will get a rep for that too - not good) and just let it happen.

i didnt look that bad, cept for the 5 mins where i had a drink in each hand, but even out of the group i was with i wasnt the worst.

I didnt look that bad compared to the the other people I was with, both the girls and guys were drunker then I was.

DA, you keep on asking time and time again about women and complaining about why you can't seem to hook up with any. You really don't seem to understand that you may need to change some things about yourself in order to attract a possible mate.

You may think that you may not have looked that bad but your judgement is impaired so your take on the situation is no longer valid. Not to mention the fact that you may be shutting yourself off to others who may be interested but are not a part of your group.

As I said earlier, you have no way of knowing when and where you may find your next love so why would you risk turning her off by getting loaded?

Yeah thats true, i have a "party" for a job interview on sunday, also open bar and ill show more restraint there.
