You definately need more air flow then and likely a better power supply if yours is old. I'm not sure but I also think that running with one side off the case makes your PC cooler. I've heard from many people that this is a no no because your case is designed to be a wind tunnel but I'm pretty sure my CPU was 5 degrees cooler with one side missing.

yeah thats what i started doing, it does run cooler, and yes its supposed to have a wind tunnel effect closed, but only with a good cooling solution. Yeah if i can get some money ill buy a new case.

I don't believe the wind tunnel crap for a moment. My case has adequate cooling and definately runs cooler with the side removed. Of course dust certainly becomes an issue though :?

a few years ago i took a fan for a room and put it right next to my open side, it dropped the temp a good 15 degrees, if i ever get the money i want one of the computer aire conditioners, that will solve the heat problem.

Ya but then you get the noise. If you have a fan or two sucking air in and a few blowing it out the back then you should be fine.

I thought that you were going on a trip somewhere, too bad it's puter problems... I'm a nerd when it comes to computers, so I can't give you any type of advice, sorry!

You can't be a nerd because a computer nerd would have all kinds of advice ;-)
