i just heard this crazy story

I was just at my parents and one of our family friends called and she had this crazy story, her oldest son, who has been married for 2 years and has a 4 month old baby came home last night after working a night job and his wife had went out with a guy she was cheating on him with, with their baby got so drunk that she peed herself then drove home with the baby. so he finds out that his wife is cheating and putting the baby in dangerous situations. So now our family friends who dont want to raise another kid may have to.

what's wrong with the father of the baby raising his own child? why would his parents have to raise his child for him? i don't understand that part.

that mother should have charges laid on her for child endangerment. mothers like that make me sick to my stomach.

I honestly don't understand cheating on one's spouse...how does one figure they can get away with it anyway? What are people thinking when they cheat; where is the honesty and scruples? :?

I don't understand it either luba. why cheat? it's so unfair to your partner. if you feel like cheating, then the relationship is over. end it first. i don't get it.

I totally agree! Ending the marriage or partnership is first if one has their eye on someone else. I abhor betrayal! :x

As for this mother, what she did to her baby is absolutely horrible. I also don't see why the father can't raise his baby on his own. Others have. As for the cheating, sometimes things happen that were unintended. I can't speak for this mother and why she did it but I have knowledge of others and it wasn't planned on their part, it just happened. Life sometimes throws us twists and we take the wrong turn but hopefully can find our way back to the correct path, whatever that may be. I won't judge her because I haven't walked in her shoes.

Very thought-provoking post, tkdlady! Made me think embarrassingly about my very judgmental post! I pride myself on not being judgmental, and clearly, I broke my own rules. I haven't walked in her shoes, either, and had no right to make such a judmental call :oops:
