Default I got one for BattleAxe

Yesterday one of my front porcelain teeth broke in half and fell out. Well...you know what the teeth look like that's UNDER the tooth after the file them and all. I was in a panic. I promptly glued the whole bottom and a part of the back (still in one piece) with super glue. HAHA! It seems to be working just fine!

That's my dental post of the week.

Merika your lucky that it broke so you could fix it and even luckier that you didn't swallow it if you were eating. You have probably saved yourself a whole bundle of money. Your post reminded me of one of my aunts who had a partial denture that broke and she would fix it herself just like you did.

I'm scared to get my back molar fixed....It's broken twice, both on stuff from mcdonalds that had rock hard bacon in it. The good thing is that I had a root canal done on it a couple years ago so it doesn't hurt, but it's bloody annoying.

And that's too funny Merika.

Yep...my six top front porcelains were about $1000 a piece! So far so good with the superglue remedy!

Weiser...if you are a young person with a bad tooth, go get it fixed now. I used to put stuff like that off and what you'll end up with is teeth that are harder to deal with as you get older. I had to do the porcelain thing because I had a front tooth that literally split in half because of me putting it off for years to fix it properly.

I know it's a pain and I know it's expensive....but I really regret all the dental work I put off far too long. I hate when a tooth chips off because it cuts up the inside of your tongue. Then you'll over use the other side and make it weaker too. Best thing is to it the bullet (no pun intended) and get it fixed asap.

LOL my dad fixes his dentures all the time with superglue, it seems to work just fine... However, i don't know how safe it is to have that stuff in your mouth??? After watching my dad almost die from a mouth infection a few years ago i reallly take good care of my teeth now, i brush every day, gargle and floss. Besides itjust makes me that much more kissable anyways!! hehe

I never took really good care of my teeth when I was younger. I do now, brush 2-3 times a day and use mouthwash. But that tooth...it's been broken for over a year now. I still eat on both sides - like I said, it doesn't hurt because I had a root canal done. I just simply can't afford to have it fixed, and my parents are strapped at the moment too. I know once I go in to get my whole mouth looked over, it's going to cost me a pretty penny...

do you have dental insurance from work? Although that tooth is giving you no pain now those are the kind of teeth that end up becoming abcessed. I hope that doesnt happen to you just trying to inform you.

I just got coverage like a week ago. It's only $750 per year though and it only covers 80%. I know it's more than nothing - but it's still going to cost me a fortune :?

thats true Your type 1 benefits should be covered at 100%. You should be able to get an exam, cleaning and xrays twice a year and not pay a thing. Yes it does run into money...Looking at your avatar I think you better get that front tooth checked also hehe

Looking at that avatar, I just wonder how it is possible, that Weiser has a hump day in the first place . And how it is possible that BattleAxe's week does not consists of humpdays alone.
