and hopefully some coin to go with it. No offense, but some dumbass doctors deserve to have their reputions ruined for the crap they do to people.

Sweet, good luck.
Hopefully it helps remove one inept doctor from service as well.

GREAT news Stoneheather! Push for all you can get because the lawyer takes 40% of the first 2 Million....plus expenses! I was originally against Ammendment 3 limiting them to onlybeing able to take $150,000 plus expenses....till I got in the middle of one of those things!
Then again....whatever they get for you is more than you had!

Congrats! great news!
I don't know what it was that the doctors weren't careful enough with your son but anything a doctor does that ruins a person't life should be held accountable and in my book, shouldn't be allowed to make that same mistake twice.

Noah went to the ER when he was 2 1/2 because we knew something was not right. We waited in the ER for 8 1/2 hours!! then he finally was seen. The doc said his appendix had ruptured 4 hours ago!!! While we we're in the ER screaming that something was wrong with my son.. they put us on the bottom of the list ( we had no insurance) So they did the Appendectimy and he recovered for 3 days they sent him home with an 104 degree temp.. at home less than 8 hours later he had a seziure. I called 911 and they took him back to the ER the doc said it was a febrile seizure and discharged him again.. while we we're waiting for the discharge papers he had another seizure!! then they moved him to ICU where he had several then a stroke SO he was air lifted to a childrens hospital. He was in a coma for 3 weeks after recovering he lost his hearing, his speech, the mucles in the left side ect.
Come to find out ( after 1 year of resurch) Noah had paritinitus, his apendix ruptured for to long and the poision went to his heart and kicked it up to his brain and gave him a stroke. To this day he can not speak

I think you have a pretty solid malpractice case. It must be rough for him, i know at least some of what he goes through.
