Default Home Exercise Equipment

Do you own any home exercise equipment in your home? Do you use them? Do you plan on purchasing any? What would you purchase?

I only have some free weights totalling about 250 lbs. or so. I've rarely used them over the past number of years but I used them 5 times a week (minimum) when I had a bench. I think I'm going to do some serious spring cleaning around here and buy me a new bench some time later in the year.

I have several yoga and palitties tapes but my GYM is only 100 yards from my house so I just go there.

I'd go to the gym if it opened up earlier. I think I may be able to go now that I'm on nightshift. Come to think of it, it's pretty weird being able to post here during the day.

We have a bowflex, they actually work really well.
We also have an excersize bike, but I don't normally use it.
During the summer I do most of my excersize outdoors (biking 5 - 15 miles on week days).

I go to the gym every workday: That's not to be confused with excersing every day. For example, this AM, the rigors of painting all Saturday, playing pool and drinking beer to midnight, then doing yardwork the next day allowed me only to crawl into the steam room where I attempted to nap until 7AM.

When we were ****S we had a obnoxiously loud treadmill that we gradually began to use more for hanging clothes than for excersise.

I've got one of those huge inflatable gym balls which the kids bounce around on, a skipping rope, a stepper that knackers your knees, a few weights and a skipping rope. I have some sort of abs machine that's still in it's box.

My gym is just around the corner too. It's in a hotel with a BAR, treatment centre, hairdressers, pool, sauna, jacuzzi and a creche. No contest.
