Evil.
I've had three friends tell me they've tried to join the Hobby Forum...but never recieved any confirmation in email. I know you said there were some problems in the beginning......should they try to rejoin?

I'll have to look into the database and see if there's a problem. It's likely it's a site config problem. I'll look into it tomorrow nite and get back to you.

Not a problem. I mentioned this to Evil earlier this week and he said initially there had been a prob with the email confirmations. I just didn't know anyone else had tried to join other than myself.

If you can, ask one of them to re-register and see if it works. If not, I'll have to access the db directly and clean out the queue.

No problem Evil, since no one reported any problem, I assumed the site was ok. I've also enabled anonymous users to post in the forum (didn't know it was disabled :?) so if anyone has problems, please post it in the general area and I'll look into all problems personally.

I had rdy2fight join and jk joined also and no problems were reported. So I thought it was working also.

Hmmn, I had similar issues reported at the start of this site as well but I wonder if it's actually fixed. It seems that people are joining with no problems but I"m wondering if it actually works for everyone.

These were guys who joined early on.....about the time I joined originally....and I can't sign on either. I think that was just a beginner forum problem.....not unusual.

Should they retry in a different logo or use the same one or just a alternate email addy?

Get them to try the original username/password combo, if it's still in the db then trying to re-register will be rejected. If they can't re-register with their old ID's then I need to go into the db anyway and clean it out.

OK Merika, there was only one name in the temp user file and I deleted it so they'll have to re-register. Let me know if it works this time please.
